Don’t feel as if the key to successful computing is only in your hands. What’s in your hands, I think and hope, is intelligence: the ability to see the machine as more than when you were first led up to it, that you can make it more. – Alan J. Perlis

Hi there! My name is Maciej Pacula and I am a computer science enthusiast. I enjoy Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and doing cool things with technology. I am currently a staff scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies.

Prior to joining the workforce, I was at MIT where I got my B.Sc (2010). and M.Eng. (2011) degrees. My thesis focused on applying Machine Learning to compiler-enabled program optimization. While at MIT, I had the pleasure of working with Una-May O’Reilly, Saman Amarasinghe and Jason Ansel.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, hiking and biking around the Boston area. You can see some of my biking videos on my YouTube channel.

I am always looking for new opportunities to work on tough and exciting problems. You can find my resume at http://mpacula.com.
